Herd Highlights

Our myotonic herd includes representatives from Driftwood Farm (DWF), Kactus Canyon (KCR) and good old Marshall County Tennessee goats from breeders such as Eddie Taylor (ET3), Nix, Doublejett and Bobby Gowan.  This is our fifth year breeding these wonderful animals and we have refined our choices to what is working on our farm.  We maintain the characteristics that make them desirable on the homestead, such as parasite resistance, reproductive health and healthy hooves.  All breeding goats are blood tested for Cl, Johnes, and CAE and we have verified that these diseases do not exist in our herd.

They are considered medium sized goats, and we maintain a few minis in our herd for those that prefer the smaller size for pets.

Colors and patterns in our herd are fairly consistent.  We strive for the belted (or partial belted) and prefer black and white, however our chocolate and white belted buck, Billy Goat Bluff 8-Ball consistently produces batches of sweet chocolate babies!  Our Texas buck, KCR Black Ice adds the blue eye trend that some purchasers are fond of.  Flash, Fit and Friendly!
